It has 1000 historical buildings in its center and the look and feel of an old European capital. At 4000 feet above seal level it has mountain air and a pleasant climate. It is known as “The city of pink stone” due to the color of the local quarry materials from which its buildings are constructed.

It is basically a barn, with a few tables on a dirt floor and a wood-fired griddle. Fresh Steak, cactus leaves and onions with simple quesadillas was prepared for us on a wood fired stove.
